Having come from middle class background, its always difficult to get a camera somehow, but I never complain about not having camera on my own and had this vision of seeing through my eyes and capturing the faces of people and feeling some sort of empathy towards other human fellows. At the same time, wandering what might have through their lives, even when I see characters in accordance with their environment I tend to take photographs in my head and wishing I had a camera with me. But in due course of time, I came to meet a good samaritan from Switzerland, who helped me get a camera and ever since I have never stopped taking photographs of faces and looking for characters in every nook and corner. Human faces always fascinates me, the structure , the characters, their wrinkled and hard burn skins out of hard works and so many things that relates with the hardships of life.

People often asks me do you take permission before taking photographs of strangers?

Well, not precisely. I always take photographs before hand and ask the permission later if I can use it. If I take the photograph of stranger before taking the photograph, I  feel it would loose the story behind their faces and its not going to come out the real person behind.
